Away with Russian Fascism – For the Freedom of Ukraine and the Security of Europe

On 24 February 2024, the russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine marks its second anniversary. Thanks to their heroic resistance, the Ukrainian people have forced the russian military to withdraw from large parts of the country. However, the genocidal war of annihilation by russian fascism continues. The civilized world supports Ukraine only enough to withstand the invasion, but not to defeat russian fascism.
This not only worsens the prospects for a quick end to the war, but also increases the risk of a russian attack on NATO. If Ukraine loses, it is only a matter of time before russian fascism attacks the EU to expand its domination over Eastern Europe. For years, it has waged a war against the civilized world to destroy the international order in favor of the law of the strongest.
Contrary to defeatist propaganda, Ukraine still has a chance for victory. But the West must enable it to decisively defeat russia. Only then can the genocidal terror against the Ukrainian civilian population end, the risk of a russian attack on NATO be reduced, and the rise of fascism in Germany be countered.
As a global center of fascism, russia supports the rise of far-right parties like the AfD. At the same time, it backs parts of the German left acting as its fifth column. Islamist groups, due to their alliance with Iran, can also rely on russian support. The fight against these different forms of fascism must focus primarily on russian fascism, which seeks to destabilize democracy in Germany.
To commemorate the Ukrainian victims of russia’s war, counter its erasure from public awareness, and demand its swift end through maximum support for Ukraine’s victory, we will meet on 24 February at 3:00 p.m. at the Marktplatz in Leipzig and march through the inner city ring. Bring Ukrainian flags, placards with our demands, and a strong voice!

Route: Marktplatz (meeting point) — Grimmaische St. — Augustusplatz — Roßplatz — Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz — Martin-Luther-Ring — Dittrichring — Thomaskirchhof — Thomasgasse — Marktplatz (end)
