#7 Café Ukraїna
Café Ukraїna is back!
After a short winter break, we are happy to announce the return of our meet-up.
The next Café Ukraїna meeting will take place on February 21 at 6:00 PM at the Polish Institute Berlin in Leipzig.
Over the past six months, we have actively discussed and reflected on important events in modern Ukrainian history. There has been a lot of watching, reading, listening, asking questions, and engaging in conversation.
This time, as part of Café Ukraїna, we will screen the film by renowned documentary director Evgeny Afineevsky, “Freedom on Fire: Ukraine’s Fight for Freedom” (“Freedom on Fire”). The film focuses on recent events in Ukrainian history—the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia. It shows firsthand the horrors of Russian aggression and how the Ukrainian people survive in this new reality.
After the screening, everyone will have the opportunity to exchange impressions of the film with like-minded people.
As always, there will be snacks and drinks.
