#9 Café Ukraїna: the voice of Viktoria

Our last meet-up focused on Ukrainian women and their achievements. This time, we turn to those who remained in Ukraine during the invasion. We will meet on April 25 at 6:00 PM at the Polish Institute Berlin in Leipzig.
With the support of the Union of Women of Ukraine, the project “Gazdyni Honorovi,” and the Center for Civil Liberties, we will screen the short film “The Voice of Viktoria: Diary of an Abducted Teacher” by Anna Trushova. The documentary tells the story of Viktoria Andrusha, a teacher who was abducted by russian soldiers and released in 2023.
Afterwards, there will be a discussion and talk with speakers Dana Mehedova, Anna Trushova, Lyudmila Huseynova, and Dr. Mykhailo Savva.
Following the discussion, there will be time for informal exchange – as always, with snacks and drinks.
Admission: free.
