Café Ukraïna #21: Online Reading with Sashko Obrij

Our June Café Ukraïna will transform into a literary evening, which we invite you to spend together with Ukrainian poet and serviceman Sashko Obrij, recipient of the All-Ukrainian Vasyl Symonenko Literary Prize (2015), member of the National Writers’ Union of Ukraine (since 2015), and author of five poetry collections. The online event will take place on 19 June at 18:00 at the Leipzig branch of the Polish Institute Berlin.

Sashko Obrij’s work is characterized by landscape-philosophical poetry, filled with love for his homeland and his native region of Mykolaiv. In addition to lyrical works, guests can look forward to humor and sharp satire.

After the main part of the event, we will traditionally continue the evening with an open discussion over drinks and snacks.
